USA wins 5 medals on final day of ’09 World Age Group T&T Competition
November 22, 2009 (Sports Features): The USA wins five medals at the 2009 World Age Group Trampoline and Tumbling Competition in St. Petersburg, Russia.  Kiara Nowlin of Oxnard, Calif., won gold; Shaylee Dunavin of Amarillo, Texas, and Felicia Hano of San Gabriel, Calif., won silvers; and Hannah Nowak of Washington, Ind., Brandon Krzynefski  of Centreville, Va., and won bronze medals. Lopez Dominates 16th Bolivian Games

2009 World Age Group Competition - Day 3

November 20, 2009 (Acrobatic Sports): The third day of competition at the 19th World Age Group Competition (WAGC) in trampoline, tumbling, and double mini-trampoline (DMT) took place today at the Sports-Concert Complex arena in St Petersburg, Russia. Russia won three new gold medals today, whereas Japan claimed two gold medals. The U.S., the Ukraine, and Great Britain also won gold medals today. In the 15-16 age group trampoline competition, Alexander Satin (UKR) and Savannah Vinsant (USA) were the gold medalists.

Delay on settling 2012 Olympic badminton and rhythmic gymnastics venue

November 25, 2009 (Guardian): Efforts by Olympic organisers to persuade badminton and rhythmic gymnastics to move their events to Wembley Arena in 2012 are unlikely to result in any agreement until next year at the earliest, it has emerged.
The capital's north circular ring road is at the centre of the ongoing debate, with the sports still unsure whether the journey times from the Olympic Village in Stratford in the east of the city that have been promised by the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games can be achieved.

Freeman, Karembeu and Co lead all-star cast as Champions for Peace

November 24, 2009 (Sports Features): What's the extra-special link between footballer Christian Karembeu, athlete Cathy Freeman, Olympic and world champion Bradley McGee, pole vaulting star Yelena Isinbayeva, the first Olympic Medallist from Togo, Benjamin Boukpeti, and marathon record-breaker Paula Radcliffe?
The answer is that all of them are also members of the Champions for Peace club being launched at the third Peace and Sport International Forum. The inauguration is being undertaken by Peace and Sport founder Joël Bouzou and Prince Albert II of Monaco at tomorrow’s Opening Ceremony in Monte Carlo.

Friday D-Day for venue

November 23, 2009 (Virgin Media): London 2012 organisers will tell the International Olympic Committee this week that they have still to resolve the venue for badminton and rhythmic gymnastics.
