Barack Obama will do for them what Tony Blair did for London.

meeting Singapore in 2005 was credited with tipping the balance
in favour of London winning the right to stage the 2012 Games,
ahead of runner-up Paris and third-placed Madrid. Obama, who
will become the new President of the United States in January,
is certain to go to Copenhagen in October next year to talk to
IOC members in the final days before the vote for the 2016
Olympics.
