Besonders hier offenbarte sich die grosse Leistungsdichte der Juniorinnen, der einfachste Sprung im Finale war ein Salto vw gebückt mit Ausgangswert 9.5, gleich fünf der acht Mädchen zeigten 9.9er Sprünge. Janina Jeworutzki (GER) hat sich mit Überschlag Salto vw. gestr. und gebückt gut geschlagen.

Zyganshyva mounted with a back Stalder hop immediate front Stalder, showed reverse hecht and Pak salto, dismounted with a layout double back (9.675). Yarotska showed great Stalder work (9.637). Natalia Serobaba (Ukraine) fell (9.15). Carmen Ionescu (Romania) she had no mayor mistakes but her full twisting double back dismount was close to the bar (9.337). Elizabeth Tweddle (Great Britain) showed a Marklaov, eagles, full pirouette to eagle, dismount with a full twisting double back tuck (9.537). Van der Leur Stalder half turn to eagles, Gienger, and a spectacular double twisting double back tuck dismount (9.662). Alba Planas (Spain) showed a reverse hecht to an immediate Gienger, inverts, a pike Jaeger, and dismounted with a double back with a half twist (9.625). Anna Pavlova (Russia) showed inverts, full pirouette to invert, reverse hecht, and on the low bar a very nice back Stalder pirouette immediate one foot step down to soul circle, dismounted with a double twisting flyaway (9.687).

Unverständlich die Entscheidung der Kampfrichterinnen, die Russin Pavlova - die nach einer schwierigen aber braven Übung nur mit Doppelschraube abschloß, auf den ersten Platz zu setzen, ebenso erstaunlich Ziganshina auf Platz 2. Das Nachsehen hatte besonders die Spanierin Alba Planas, die mit einer direkten Verbindung Tkatschew-Gienger und Fontaine zum Abgang glänzte. Verdient war der dritte Platz für Hollands Verona van de Leur, die als Abgang einen Tsukahara mit zusätzlicher Schraube - "Doppel-Doppel" genannt - zeigte.

Beide Rumaeninnen mit guten und stabilen Uebungen , Cojocar u.a. mit Flickflack-Flickflack-Salto rw gehockt mit 1/1 LAD . Dritte die elegante Ukrainierin Irina Yarodskaya, die beim Doppelsaltoabgang einen Ausfallschritt hatte.

Cojocar did a front mount, flip-flop flip-flop full, switch split tuck open
chest roll, hitch kick tuck side flip, wolf jump straddle 3/4, round-off triple
full with one step on the landing (9.6). Zasypkina performed a front mount
small wobble, switch split land on two feet, split half, wolf jump front, stag
jump, standing Arabian fall, standing layout layout wobble, round off
double tuck one step forward (8.9). Peron punch front mount, handspring
front (wow!) switch split pike jump, tuck jump 3/4 Shushunova, free
forward roll, wolf 1/2, flip-flop flip-flop (slipped her foot) made double back
( 9.325). Ilaria Colombo (Italy) front small wobble, switch split switch
split, Gainer flip-flop broken connection double stag jump, aerial walkover,
1/4 turn Shushunova, front to tuck jump, hitch kick split jump, flip-flop
flip-flop double tack with a fall backwards (8.762). Stroescu front mount,
showed flip-flop layout Onodi, punch front, flip-flip flip-flop tuck double
back (9.6), Verona Van der Leur (Netherlands) simple A mount, wolf
jump full twisting flip-flop step out, straddle jump full twisting swing down,
flip-flop flip-flop double full (9.437). Yarotska Gainer flip-flop Onodi, hitch
kick tuck side, flip-flop double tuck (9.575). Zyganshyva front mount
wobble, fall on her flight series, standing Arabian punch front, double tuck

Siliva Stroescu (Romania) tumbled a whip 2-1/2 twist, punch pike front, tuck full-in and finished with a triple full (a little short) for 9.72). Rikst Valntijn (Netherlands) opened with an exceptionally high Arabian double front, triple twist, 2-1/2 twist, punch front, double pike (9.525). Irina Yarotska (Ukraine) performed a1-1/2 step out to a 2-1/2 front tuck, handspring double full to pike front, triple twist, handspring full with side flip (9.487). Marlene Peron (France) mounted with a front step out through to Arabian double front, front layout to double front, double pike (9.675). Natalia Zyganshyva (Russia) opened with a tuck full in, whip to 2-1/2 front, triple full, double pike dismount (9.587). Maria Zasypkina (Russia) mounted with a tuck full-in, performing to cute, ragtime banjo music. She finished up with a whip, 2-1/2 front, front double twist, pike front but went out of bounds before her last pass (double pike) for 9.287.
Marion Mourier (France) mounted with an Arabian double front, taking a big step out of bounds, then continued with a whip, 2-1/2 front, triple twist for 9.5. All-around champ Sabina Cojocar (Romania), last up, opened with a whip 2-1/2 twist to punch front, full-in, triple twist dismount (9.712).    (source: International Gymnast)

Silvia Stroescu siegte mit einer gut choreografierten Uebung, musikalisch zu "Bruder Jacob", was beim Publikum sehr gut ankam. Eine wunderschöne Übung zu einem ziemlich "dramatischen" Tango zeigte die Holländerin Rikst Valentijn, die leider in der zweiten Bahn die Fläche verlassen musste.
