Hobbs: Sie
gehört eher zu den sportlich-kraftvollen
Turnerinnen, zeigt Tsukahara gehockt in der
angangsreiehe, Doppeltwist, und am Ende Salto
rw. gestreckt mit zweieinhalb Schrauben.
Kozich:
Die 16jährige stand schon bei vielen internationalen
Wettkämpfen im Boden-Finale und wird auch
in Cottbus mit viel Beifall bedacht. Salto vw.
Gestreckt mit Doppelsalto vw. gehockt, muss
aber ein paar Schritte zurücklaufen; auch
die zweite Reihe ist eine Vorwärts-Reihe,
Abgangsreihe Salto rw. gestreckt mit 3 Schrauben
in den Stand.
Chusovitina:
Die 28jährige ist zum 9. Mal in Cottbus
dabei, Doppelsalto rw. gestreckt in der ersten
Reihe in den sicheren Stand, zweite Reihe Tsukahara
gehockt, Vorwärtsreihe in der Mitte, am
Ende doppelsalto Rückwärts gebückt,
nicht in den sicheren Stand.
Schweigert:
Ganz in schwarz und nach spanischen Klängen
zeigt sie einen soliden Vortrag - mit zwei Temposalti,
Flick-Flack, Salto rw. gestreckt mit zweieinhalb
Drehungen, hoher Doppeltwist, letzte Reihe Doppelsalto
rw. gebückt.
Gargano:
Die Italienerin turnt spritzig und mit Temperament,
beginnt mit Tsukahara gehockt, dann Temposalto,
Salto rw. gestreckt mit zweieinhalb Drehungen
und Salto vw. gehockt; am Ende ein Salto rw,
mit 3 Drehungen, jedoch nicht ganz ausgedreht.
Moreno:
Die sympathische Ausstrahlung der kleinen Patricia
steht in bester Tradition des spanischen Bodenturnens;
muss aber nach Tsukahara gebückt die Bodenmatte
verlassen; in der Mittelreihe nach Salto vw.
gestreckt eine tiefe Landung, Abgang: Dreifachmühle.
Leonida:
Für die strenge rumänische Turnschule
turnt sie ausgesprochen elegant am Boden nach
Folkloremusik - mit Verve und Ausstrahlung,
was das Publikum mit langem Beifall belohnt.
Tsukahara gebückt in der 1. Reihe, Salto
rw. mit zweieinhalb Drehungen und Salto vw.
gestreckt, Abgangsreihe Doppelsalto rw. gebückt.
Sie geht auf Platz 2 hinter Kozich.

Santos: Die Halle tobt nach dem Vortrag
der Weltmeisterin mit südländischem
Temperament nach Trommelklängen - sie zeigt
am Anfang zwei Doppeltwist, einen gebückt
, einen gehockt, am Ende Doppelsalto rw. gebückt;
sehr hoch, sehr gut geturnt, super! sie geht
mit 9,700 in Führung!
Ponor:
beginnt mit Tsukahara gebückt, Salto
rw. mit zweieinhalb Drehungen und Salto vw.
gestreckt, landet ihren Doppelsalto rw. gebückt
am Ende der Übung in der tiefen Hocke.

Floor
was a high level final with some new skills
and routines debuted.
Once
again world champion Daiane Dos Santos
enthralled the crowd with her stellar tumbling
- two double Arabians (one piked, one tucked),
triple twist and double pike in the final,
Romanian
Catalina Ponor debuted a new routine
with interesting and expressive choreography
that uses her height and range of movemnet well.
Her opening tumble of full-in was more tucked
than piked, she also showed a 2 1/2 twist to
punch layout, triple twist and a double pike
(low in the winners final).
Alina
Kozich opened with a front layout to double
front but had to take a few steps back. Handspring
double twisting front to punch front full. Her
elegant lines and dance were very well received
by the audience.
Floarea
Leonida was much improved in terms of choreography
and gymnastic elements. She opened with a tight
piked full-in, 2 1/2 twist to punch front layout,
whip to triple twist and double pike.
Vanessa
Hobbs was solid and confident, showing an
Arabian double front as a second pass.
Oksana Chusovitina also has a new floor
routine but seemed a little indifferent in her
presentation. Opened with a double layout, second
pass was a tucked half in half out.
Birgit
Schweigert competed well and avoided any
large errors (two whips through to 2 1/2 twist,
Arabian double front).
Gargano
showed diffuclt tumbling but struggled in her
dance elements, out of bounds on a triple twist.
Moreno landed a 3 1/2 twist but lost concentration
after a bad landing on her third pass.
