Am Sprung
der Frauen war es wieder einmal die erfahrene Oksana
Chusovitina, welche sich an die Spitze des Feldes
setzte. Sie präsentierte ihre beiden Sprünge, unter
anderem einen Tsukahara gestreckt mit 1 ½ Schraube,
solide, wenn auch nicht mit ganz perfekter Körperhaltung.
Auf Platz 2 folgt das junge Brasilianische Talent Lais
Souza welche im 2. Sprung einen guten Cuervo (Überschlag
½ Drehung – Salto rw. gebückt) zeigte. Deutsche
Starterinnen waren am Sprung nicht am Start.

Once
again in a competition the experienced Oksana
Chusovitina took the lead on vault. She presented 2
solid vaults, the first one a layout Tsukahara 1 ½
twists, although with slight technical problems.
Following on rank 2 is the young talent from Brazil Lais
Souza who presented a good Cuervo (handspring ½ turn
– piked somersault bw.). With only four of the
participants scoring about 9.00 this qualification
lacked a bit of quality but this can certainly improve
during the finale.
