The Spanish chief of organisation Jesus Telo was very happy, again:
"Never before we registered more than 850 participants from 20 different countries!"
All together 7,000 participants in a lot of different shows presented "Happy gymnastics" in colorfull pictures, in performances of different places, locations and in show programs.
Some days before the BLUME Festival Gran Canaria 2004 took place a special meeting of UEG, to prepair the 1st GOLDEN AGE FESTIVAL 2005, one week before the coming 45th BLUME FESTIVAL.
The president of the UEC Technical Committee of General Gymnastics, Jeannette Heusler said: "It's not only a good idea, but the 'Isle of eternal spring' Gran Canaria is also a good place, to start with it!"

Not only the Olympic Games in Athens, but also the many dates of General Gymnastics are the top dates of the gymnastics Calendar 2004. So many friends of gymnastics vistited the different European gym festivals - like "GYM 2004" in Kristiansand (NOR), the 44th EUROGYM in Jyväskylä, Finland ore any other national events.
But with a special highlight - the 44th BLUME GRAN CANARIA FESTIVAL - the important Olympic sports year 2004 will finish, like every year again.

. 43rd BLUME Gran Canaria Festival 2003

The Spanish chief of organisation Jesus Telo is happy: "Never before we registered more than 220 different clubs, so in this year we will notice a new record in the history of this lovely gymnastics festival "BLUME GRAN CANARIA! And I'm surprised, because we are in the year of the highligt "World Gymnaestrada Lisbon 2003!
Our organizing committee is redy - all our guests from 12 differnt countries can come!"
Special guests will be the "CosmicArtists" from the host of the "International German Gymnastics Festival 2005", from Berlin. Among of them former Olympians and the will come with a very strong show performance...!

October 1st has been the deadline for entries of one of the friendliest gymnastics festivals on the World, the BLUME Gran Canaria Festival which will take place from November 21st – 30th 2003.
Again about 6,000 participants are expected. It is not only a highlight in Spain but also World-wide. This time even a group of the club Dojo Clubs Bamako from Mali/ Africa is going to participate in the festival. Also for the first time no less than 200 participants from Czech Republic will travel to Spain.
A group of gymnasts from the city which will host the German Gymnastics Festival 2005, Berlin, will also participate in the BlUME Festival this year – the “Cosmic Artists” with their air track show. Among them are former Olympians Peter Nikiferow and Jeanine Fissler (RG).

  2002:  ... a special Sports Event of Illusions
The shows and performances in the warm and magic November nights of Gran Canaria were a phantastic highlight on the Plaza de Maspalomas, downtown of Playa del Ingles.
The third Spanish TV channel sent the best moments from this wounderful event....
Magicans, walking on stilts, the drummers fram Biberach (Germany), funky-musik from Ingenio filled the thousends of spectators with enthusiasm.
The most of the audiences were tourists and guests on the "Island of eternal Springs" Gran Canaria, and this "Festival with Heart", BLUME GRAN CANARIA, is now a fix date in the calendar every year from all of them....
