Vor ca. 25 Jahren begann ein Trainer am Strand von Las Palmas spielende Jungen und Mädchen anzusprechen, mit ihnen zu üben... und daraus entwickelte sich der Club "Gimnasio La Playa" in Las Palmas, der es unter heutiger Leitung des Trainers Lolo Armaz sogar bis zu dritten und ersten Plätzen in der spanischen Meisterschaft im Kunstturnen brachte.

25 years ago a trainer started with girls and boys on the beach of Las Palmas and step by step he developed the Club 'Gimnasio La Playa'...

Today - in leadership of the coach Lolo Armaz - this club got third or first places in the Spanish Championships in different age groups of artistic gymnastics.
