*Today start the JECh competitions |
Almost a year after Linoy ASHRAM's sensational Olympic victory in Tokyo and despite the end of her career, the fire of enthusiasm for the stars of rhythmic gymnastics in Israel is still burning. This also motivated the organizers of the 38th EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS of RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS of this most aesthetic of all women's disciplines, which will take place from June 15 to 19, 2022 in Tel Aviv and thus for the first time in Israel.
A total of 39 European federations have registered: 291 participants are expected, including 86 elite gymnasts, 92 juniors and 113 elite group gymnasts.
>> At the end, host Israel was once again rewarded with Daria ATAMANOV's all-around victory. The apparatus titles were shared by the co-favourite, Bulgarian all-around second Boryana KALEYN (ball, ribbon) and Italy's Sofia RAFFAELI, who finished fourth in the all-around without a medal. The Italian group also won both gold medals in the group finals! After a strong 5th place in the four-way battle, Germany's Darja VARFOLOMEEJEV won two bronze medals with ball and clubs!
