After the competitions in Baku, Doha, Cottbus, Ljubljana and and at the last weekend of April in Osijek / Croatia now the next and already 6^th FIG Challenge Cup in the Olympic year - takes place now in Varna, Bulgaria. Double winner of the first final day there was the best European gymnast Oleg Verniaev from Ukraine, winning the floor exercice and the pommel horse final, and he was second on stillrings behind his teammate Igor RADIVILOV, who was also the best on vault on second final day and superstar Oleg VERNIAIEV dominated confidently the parallel bars, but crashed at the end on high bar.
So the Byelorussian Andrei LIKHOVITSKIY won this apparatus at the end ...!
Swiss star Giulia Steingruber was unbeatable at her favorite apparatus, the vaulting table, but on uneven bars she was beaten by Russia's Daria SKRUPNIK.
Marine BOYER from France was the winner on beam but STEINGRUBER dominated on floor, followed by her Swiss teammate Ilaria Kaeslin on second place ...
In front of the European Championships this year will follow in May the Challenge Cup in Sao Paulo, Brazil...
