World Games 2009: ... this year s Test Events

In preparation for the 2009 World Games - highlight of the non-Olympic gymnastics disciplines (Individual Rhythmic Gymnastics, Synchronized Trampoline, Tumbling, Double Mini Trampoline, Aerobics and Acrobatics)  - the this year's "2008 World Games Pre-events" as the test competitions this week started with competitions in Individual Rhythmic Gymnastics featuring Hoop, Rope, Clubs and Ribbon. The 17 years old Natalia Pichuzhkina from Russia won all the apparatus finals, in front of her Russian teammate Alexandra Ermakova ...


Rhythmic gymnastics was the first of five gymnastics events in the 12-day warm-up games that opened at the Kaohsiung Arena Tuesday.
Natalia PICHUZHKINA (RUS) - gold medalist in the clubs and group events at the 2006 European Youth Championship - won all the four gold medals in final events with skillful artistic performances that highlighted the beauty and power of her movements.
On second place, and with a big difference of points to all the other finalists, came her Russian teammate Alexandra ERMAKOVA, (- photo, right) who was also a 2006 European youth champion in Moscow.
