From 22nd to 24th August, the 2006 All Japanese RG Club Championships were held in Tokyo.
Japanese Club Team champion 2006 is AEON (140,275), followed by the squad of NPO Gifu RG Club (132,80) and on third came Hikousen RG Club (131.375).
The all-around winner, Ai Yokochi (52.075) (photo, left) came also from AEON team; she made her personally record: the fourth title from 2003 on!
But this year it was a very strong concurrence, because Mimi Inoue (Hikousen RG Club) led after semi final...

... without mistakes in Mimi Inoue's third routine (ball: ... she missed and ball rushed out from the floor! ) she ha big chances to win this competition. But so she shoud be a top favorite for the national elite title this year!
Inoue was one of the Japanese group member last year.
INoue said: 'For me it was a very difficult time after 2005 World Championships. It wasn't easy for me to change my conditions from group to indivisual exercises. It was a long way for me to recover!'

Winner of the junior category of this competition is Kotono Tanaka (Matsunaga RG). She impressed the audience with her performances with high flexibility and her beaming smile.
The 2nd placed junior is Kana Yokoyama (NPO Gifu RG Club). Her teammate Haruna Masunaka was also junior champion of this competition last year. NPO Gifu is 2nd place.
