3rd European Champs: Sports Aerobics

Giovanna Lecis (ITA) and Gregory Alcan (FRA) became European Champions of individual competitions of 3rd European Championships of Sports Aerobics in Debrecen (HUN).
The Romanians Lacatus / Nicolai (Mixed Pairs), the Trio of Spain and the group of Romania are the other European Champions.
More than 20 nations were participated in this Championships hosted by the European Gymnastics Union.

Many of the ECh-participants started at the „German Aerobics Open' in Leipzig past September which had been used as last test.

In the category Individual Women there will be the leader of the World Ranking List and present World Champion Izabela M. Lacatus (Romania), the current European Champion Giovanna Lecis (Italia) as well as Mihaela T. Pohoata (Romania).

As Individual Men the multiple World Champion Jonathan Canada (Spain), the surprising winner of the „German Aerobics Open' in Leipzig Vito Iaia (Italia), Halldor Birgir Johannsson (Island) and Gregory Alcan (France) take part in these Championships.

As Mixed Pairs the Bulgarian Lazarova / M. Kolev and the Romanian I. M. Lacatus / R. Nicolai have the highest title chances.

Among the Trios most likely the French Julian/Alcan/Severino or the Spaniards Canada/Carrasco/De Las Heras will head for the gold medal. In the category Groups the strongest teams are send by Romania, Russia and France.
