For the first time in history two real decendants of Jahn meet in the former living
house: Mrs. Sigrid Burchard from Werne
(Germany) and Mr. Ernest John Rohr from
Chicago, Illinois (USA) (both in the middle).

Zum ersten Male in der Geschichte trafen sich 2 wirkliche Nachfahren des Turnvaters
in 3.Generation im ehemaligen Wohnhaus:
Frau Sigrid Burchard aus Werne (Deutschland)
und Mr. Ernest John Rohr aus South
Holland-Chikago, Illinois (USA).

EXHIBITION
All the guests were very impressed about the original condition of the rooms and
the many interesting exhibits from the life and works of the founder of gymnastics.AUSSTELLUNG
Alle Gäste zeigten sich sehr beeindruckt von der Wiederherstellung originaler
Zustände der Räumlichkeiten (einst errichtet nach Jahns eigenen Bauzeichnungen) und von
der Fülle der Exponate aus Leben und Wirken des Begründers des Turnsports. |
