PACIFIC ALLIANCE GYMNASTICS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2002

At the first day of the Artistic Gymnastics Events of the 2002 Pacific Alliance Gymnastics Championships in the Bill Copeland Sports Center of  Burnaby (Canada) the USA Men's team won the team competition with a score of  164,575. 

On second place came Japan (159,225), third was Australia (157,825).

Best in all-around was Paul Hamm (USA). He scored 56,325, with the highest start value of 59 points.

Yang, Wei (China)

On second place: Brett McClure (USA/ 54,475), third was the Chinese Yang, Wei (54,200).

USA Takes 7 out of 8 in Women's Finals
China takes the remaining one on Senior Bars. Carly Patterson takes 3 Golds in junior and Tasha Schwikert adds 2 Gold to yesterday's All Around Gold. Results

China takes 3 Golds in Men's Senior finals
USA takes 2 (one is from a tie on High Bar, after a post-awards video review) and a Gold each for Canada and Malaysia!! Junior Men's finals produces another pair of Golds for Canada from Brandon O'Neill, 2 Gold for USA, and one each for Australia and Japan. Results

Also the USA Women's team won the team competition with a score of  111,223.

On second place came Australia (107,099), third was Japan (104,973).

Best in all-around was Tasha Schwickert (USA). She scored 37,974, with the highest start value of 39,4 points.
