The FIG informed, that the Organisers of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup event in Pesaro (ITA), scheduled for August 26 – 28, 2010, were compelled to add an extra day to the programme for qualifications, due to a huge influx of participating gymnasts. Participation is off the charts, surpassing even the most optimistic expectations.
To date, 40 federations and some 260 gymnasts have signed up. By the time registration closes on June 26, 2010, the numbers are sure to swell greater still.

This mass arrival of gymnasts is what sparked Italian organisers to add an extra qualification day to their programme, which now looks like this:
* August 25: – arrival of delegations to the Adriatic Arena;
* August 26: – training;
* August 27 – 28: – Qualifications,
* August 29 – Finals ... on the mats of the Official Supplier,
