Japanese Junior Championships2006
Last weekend in Tokyo, Japan took place the 2006 CHACOTT Championships,identically with the Japanese National Juniors Championships of Rhythmic Gymnastics.
At the 24th anniversary top two gymnasts contend for the first place it was really exciting decision.
Gold medal went to the very talented gymnast Kotono Tanaka (Matsuyaga RG).
Yuka ENDO from "Stella" came on second place, followed by Kana YOKOYAMA from "NPO Gifu Rhythmic Gymnastics Club...
The sharpest rival also winning the national juniors title was Yuka Endo(STELLA), also a beautiful gymnast. Her performances were elegant and very stylish and the flexibility is beautiful, too! She was the most impressed and elegant gymnast of this competition.
These two juniors gymnasts are never compare unfavorably with another countries, especcially European - they will be a hope in Japan in the near future.
Kana Yokoyama (NPO Gifu RG Club) was the 3rd placed gymnast: Good fights, but she had some mistakes in clubs and ribbon performances.
Kotono Tanaka (Matsuyaga RG) won two gold medals. She got not only individual but also the group title in the team of "Matsunaga RG". After the competition Tanaka said: "I'm very happy! But I made some mistakes.And I think I have to trainning more for my week points." Both, Kotono Tanaka and Yuka Endo are qualified to the "All Japan RG Championships" next month in Mie.
