Change from Portugal to Russia
The Executive Committee of the European Gymnastics Union (UEG) decided on it's meeting in Prague to withdraw the European Championships of Rhythmic Gymnastics 2006 from the Portuguese Gymnastics Federation and the town of Portimao and hands over to the Russian Gymnastics Federation....
These championships have now been entrusted to the Russian Federation and will be held at the initially planned dates (18 to 24 September 2006). The organising town will be designated shortly. Source: UEG website
